This a real coin that was cut out by hand with a jewelers saw.  It was triple plated with 14 Karat gold.  The color  will match other gold jewelry and the triple plating insures a long lasting finish.  It was minted for the territories of:  Mauritania, Senegal, Dahomey, French Sudan, Ivory Coast,  Upper Volta, Niger, French Guinea
